Milan, 2013

Our Porta Venezia atelier was established in 2013 from Elena’s desire to give shape to a place that could combine both her private and professional life smoothly. The space used to be a traditional car repair shop facing the street, today the atelier keeps the traces of its memories by preserving its direct contact with the streetlife and the elongated layout.
The 300 sq.m. space, equally divided in two levels, spans from the road to the interior courtyard of a typical milanese house. the office, the living room and the bedroom with its services, follow one another in the rooms of the ground floor and the choice of the uniform flooring, with parts of black and white cement, gives unity to the spaces. Objects related to the world of interior design such as books, photos and art pieces are placed in bookshelves and along walls, mirroring anytimw Elena’s passion for beauty.
The basement hosts the wide samples archive of the studio as well as some leisure private space and the loundry.
